Meet Gouri Krishna, the bold school girl from Wayanad, Kerala. The next year will see Gouri completing her four years of academic life at AFRC. Gouri is the Peace Gong Kerala bureau chief and is an inspirational presence in all our volunteer, media and rural leadership initiatives. Gouri is the winner of AFRC leadership award.

We at AFRC, believe in the  joy of giving. When we thought of honoring exceptional people with AFRC achievement awards we made sure an award should go way beyond individual recognition. That`s how AFRC scholarships were linked to the awards. Whenever AFRC honors an individual with an award for inspirational works which could value add society, a student here in Wayanad will receive a scholarship which will enable the student to receive language, communication, leadership and media training until he/she is in a position to be independent in life.
